2020 JAMB, 700,000 candidates registered so far (in 2 weeks)

 /JAMB
According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), 700,000 candidates have so far (in the past two weeks) registered for the upcoming 2020/2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) exam. We're expecting the number of candidates to pass one million candidates, but as usual, not in millions.  If you have not installed JAMB CBT app, this is the right time to install EduPadi offline JAMB app install EduPadi offline JAMB app Speaking on the progress so far, JAMB' Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said that the registration exercise has been hitch-free so far and that candidates turn out have been impressive turnout, starting from the first day the registration started. His words:
“I will like to say we have actually found this exercise very interesting as we have already registered a total of 700, 000 prospective candidates for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in just 14 days. “We have 21 days left to go for this registration exercise and we wish to call on all candidates, the UTME and Direct Entry, to seize the opportunity and register, as there will be no extension.
Dr. Benjamin also noted that the JAMB had blacklisted 41 centres out of the 692 centres used, over issues such as extortion, technical deficiency, etc:
“Parents are to note that the cost of the UTME forms remains N3,500 for the ePINs and N500 for the reading text and nothing more. “Parents are to ensure that their children do this individually and not as a group. In addition, the CBT centres where the candidates register have been directed not to charge anything above N700 as their service charge,’’ Benjamin said.
Have you or your ward registered for 2020 JAMB UTME? If not, go now and do your registration, then focus on your preparation for the exam. Don't forget to study JAMB past questions offline with our JAMB App.
