1. Agbami Scholarship

Agbami Scholarship is one of the top scholarships in Nigeria. The scholarship is sponsored by Star Deep and its Agbami partners for majorly Medical and Engineering undergraduate students in Nigeria.

The scholarship is for Medical and Engineering students who are in their 100L and 200L, and the scholarship is worth N200,000 and N100,000, respectively.

2. Jim Ovia Scholars Program

The Jim Ovia Scholars Program is a scholarship program established by Mr Jim Ovia in 1998 to provide financial help to outstanding Nigerian students. 

The scholarship is for 100 eligible undergraduate students every year, and the awardees will get support for their study for the duration of their program, including tuition and maintenance allowances.

Mr Ovia has invested over 100 Million Naira in the program to support 1500 beneficiaries and counting in the past ten (10) years.

Scholarships are awarded based on personal intellectual ability, leadership capability and a desire to contribute to society at large to improve the lives of others.

3. David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship

The David Oyedepo Foundation gives scholarship awards to many talented African students with proven superior academic abilities to pursue undergraduate programs in two of the best universities in Nigeria.

The scholarship is for both Nigerian and African students at all levels. However, there are some criteria you must meet to qualify for the scholarship. 

4. Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Scholarship

The NLNG Scholarship is one of the best scholarships in Nigeria.   

NLNG offers three main categories of scholarship programs: post-primary, undergraduate, and post-graduate, to promote academic excellence and support the development of human capital in Nigeria.

The NLNG has spent over N3 billion sponsoring thousands of students in different universities in Nigeria. 

5. PTDF Scholarship Programme

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PDTF) is one of the best scholarships for Nigerian students. 

The scholarship scheme is an annual programme for MSc and PhD studies. Its purpose is to provide Nigerian students with the intellectual foundation and skill set to enable them to participate actively in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry after their studies.

The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Education, also offer scholarships to Nigerian students. 

The scholarship awards are for students in post-graduate, undergraduate, HND, and NCE. 

8. NNPC/Chevron Scholarship

Chevron Nigeria Limited, in partnership with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), also offers scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate students. 

The scholarship awards are for second-year (200L) qualified students and are valid for four (4) years.
