JAMB adds new subjects: Computer Science; Physical Health Education

 / 2 Comments /JAMB,School News

JAMB has announced the addition of two new subjects to its list of subjects for the secondary school/UTME. This was made known on Saturday by the JAMB registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede.

The new subjects added are:

  1. Computer Science
  2. Physical Health Education

“We are asking and sensitising the public, particularly the students, who are to take the exam, that these are two science subjects that will be added to their choice to widen opportunities for candidates to be able to access tertiary education,” Oloyede stated.

Prof Ishaq touched on other things, such as the board's efforts to clear the backlog of illegal admissions by universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and other such institutions across the country.

The registrar noted that a cashless registration system was adopted for 2022 JAMB UTME. According to him, JAMB would equally prohibit Computer-based Test (CBT) Centres from selling e-PINs to guard against the extortion of candidates.

Remember to study JAMB past questions and answers for free.

The newly added subjects make perfect sense, in my opinion. Those are important subjects, especially in this internet/computer age.
