The Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) visited Abia State University (ABSU) for inspections/accreditation.

The ABSU accreditation took place yesterday by the NUC members (national university commission).
The NUC members also visited the school hostels yesterday, their aim of doing this was to check if students in the hostels are well taken care of and to make sure their environment is being kept clean to assure good and a healthy environment.
During their visit, they made some remarks about the school hostels, both good and bad. One of the hostel (Hostel G) was believed to be the best amongst all. The hostel portal was commended for their efforts in keeping the environment in shape and making sure everything was in a good place.
