UNIJOS Moves To Permanent Site After 44 Years

The University of Jos(UNIJOS) has moved to their parmanent site at Naraguta campus, Unity FM reports.

According to the news media, UNIJOS management had instructed the relocation of its senate and administrative office from Main Campus to Permanent site Naraguta campus.

The Vice Chancellor of UNIJOS, Prof. Sebastian Maimako reportedly gave the go ahead order:

"I here by direct all administrative staff of the university to move to the permanent site immediately".

Arrangements to move to permanent site started in 2010, with some faculties; Law, Engineering and others already moved there. 

Located at the new campus is a Senate/Administrative building with a 400 capacity that meets the standard of modern facilities.

The building has two committee rooms that accommodates 30 seat each with boardroom, standby generators, etc.
