30 Schools in Benue state have landed in trouble with the WAEC for issues relating to exam malpractice.
The affected schools are reported to have been delisted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), meaning they are not allowed to participate in future WAEC examinations.
According to the Benue State Commissioner for Education, Professor Dennis Ityavya, who made the announcement on Sunday, March 7th, some of the affected schools are private schools, mostly located in rural communities, and are used as miracle centers. Some of these schools' results have been withdrawn.
The Commissioner further disclosed that officials of the ministry alongside security operatives would move around the state to shut down the illegal schools.
Stay away from exam malpractice. The disadvantages goes beyond getting caught.
