Achievements of ECOWAS

ECOWAS has achieved a number of successes in its efforts to promote regional integration and cooperation in West Africa. Some of these achievements include:

• Economic Integration: ECOWAS has established a common market, customs union, and monetary union among its member states, which has helped to increase trade and investment within the region.

• Peace and Security: ECOWAS has played a key role in promoting peace and stability in the region through its efforts to resolve conflicts and support peacekeeping operations.

Problems of ECOWAS
