Advantages:
- Trait Enhancement: Selective breeding allows farmers to choose animals with desirable traits like high milk production, fast growth, or disease resistance. Over generations, this improves the overall quality of the herd or flock.
- Genetic Control: Farmers have control over which animals mate, enabling them to select parents with the best genes. This helps in shaping the next generation according to specific goals.

Disadvantages:
