Charts, Records, and Schedules - JSS2 Mathematics Lesson Note
Charts: Visual representations of data or information, often in the form of graphs, diagrams, or tables. For example, a multiplication table is a chart showing the results of multiplying numbers.
Example: A multiplication chart showing 3×1=3, 3×2=6, and so on.
Records: Written documents or files that keep track of information. This could be attendance records, scores in a game, or financial records.
Example: A record of daily temperatures in a city over a month.
Schedules: Plans or timetables that show events, tasks, or activities and when they are supposed to happen.
Example: A school schedule showing classes from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
These tools—tables for squares and square roots, and charts, records, and schedules—are all about organizing and understanding information more effectively. They help in calculations, tracking progress, and planning activities efficiently.
