Classification of chemicals based on their hazardous nature - JSS2 Basic science Lesson Note
Chemicals can be classified based on their hazardous nature into three categories:
Highly hazardous toxic chemicals are extremely dangerous and can cause severe harm even in small amounts.
Moderately hazardous toxic chemicals are less dangerous than highly hazardous ones but still pose risks to health and the environment.
Non-hazardous and non-toxic chemicals are considered safe for regular use and do not pose significant risks to health or the environment.
