Communication - SS2 Geography Lesson Note

Communication is the process of sharing information, thoughts, ideas, or feelings between individuals or groups. It is how we convey messages to each other using various methods to exchange information.

 

Types of Communication:

  • Verbal Communication: This type involves spoken or written words. It can be face-to-face conversations, phone calls, or written messages like emails and letters.

 

  • Non-Verbal Communication: This includes body language, facial expressions, and gestures. People often convey messages without words through their actions and mannerisms.

 

  • Visual Communication: Visuals, such as images, charts, and graphs, are used to convey information. It's commonly seen in presentations, posters, and advertisements.

 

  • Digital Communication: This encompasses various forms of communication through electronic devices and the internet. It includes emails, texting, social media, and video conferencing.
