Communism - SS1 Government Lesson Note
Communism is a political and economic system where all property and resources are owned and controlled by the community as a whole, rather than by individuals or the state. In a communist system, the means of production are collectively owned, and goods and services are distributed based on need rather than market demand.
In theory, communism aims to create a classless society, where everyone has equal access to resources and opportunities. However, communist regimes have often been associated with authoritarianism and the suppression of individual freedoms.
