Concept of Labour Force - SS1 Economics Lesson Note

Labour force refers to the group of people within a population who are either employed or actively seeking employment. It includes individuals who are currently working and those who are unemployed but actively looking for work. People who are not seeking work or who are unable to work, such as students, retirees, and individuals with disabilities, are not considered part of the labour force.
