Million

A million is 1,000,000 (one followed by six zeros).

Example: The population of a small country might be 5 million, written as ₦5,000,000.

Billion

A billion is 1,000,000,000 (one followed by nine zeros).

Example: The revenue of a large multinational company might be ₦50 billion, written as ₦50,000,000,000.

Trillion

A trillion is 1,000,000,000,000 (one followed by twelve zeros).

Example: The national debt of a large country might be ₦20 trillion, written as 20,000,000,000,000.
