Identification of mode, median in asset of data - JSS1 Mathematics Lesson Note

Mode: The mode of a dataset is the value that appears most frequently. For example, in the set {3, 5, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 10}, the mode is 8 because it appears more times than any other number.

Median: The median is the middle value when a dataset is ordered from least to greatest. If there's an odd number of values, it's the middle one. If there's an even number, it's the average of the two middle numbers. For instance, in {3, 5, 5, 7, 8, 8, 8, 10}, the median is 7 because it's the fourth number when ordered.
