Importance Of The Creation Story - JSS1 Christian Religious Studies Lesson Note
There are four important things to note about the story of creation:
1.God created the world by his power. This emphasizes his ownership of the world and his sovereign rulership over the entire universe. Therefore everything is under God's authority and control.
2. God created the world in an orderly manner. God was able to do so because he is a God of order.
3. God created a clean and beautiful world. This comes from the fact that the Bible noted that all that God created was good.
4. The story of creation gives us the idea of the gradual unfolding of the universe. Many men have sought to discover the manner with which the world came into existence, however the Bible gives a clear and precise explanation on the gradual unfolding of the creation process.
