Introduction: Gradient of Lines - SS2 Mathematics Lesson Note
Any equation with the highest power of the variable being \(1\) is a linear equation and is of the general form \(ax + by + c = 0\), where \(a,\ b\) and \(c\) are constants.
A straight line can be drawn for the equation \(ax + by + c = 0\) between the points \(x = 0\) and \(y = 0\). This line is called a linear graph.
