Introduction to Pressure: Definition and Units - JSS2 Basic technology Lesson Note
Definition: Pressure is defined as the force per unit area applied perpendicular to the surface of an object. Mathematically, it is expressed as (P = F / A), where (P) is pressure, (F) is the force applied, and (A) is the area over which the force is applied.
Units: The SI unit of pressure is the Pascal (Pa), which is equivalent to one Newton per square metre (N/m²).
