Judiciary - SS1 Government Lesson Note

The judiciary is the branch of government responsible for interpreting and applying the law. This branch includes all the courts in a country, from local courts to the highest court of appeal. 

The main function of the judiciary is to ensure that the law is applied fairly and consistently, and to resolve disputes between individuals, organizations, and the government. 

Judges are appointed to hear cases and make decisions based on the evidence presented and the interpretation of the law. The judiciary is often seen as a key pillar of democracy, as it helps to protect citizens' rights and ensure that those in power are held accountable.
