 Myth are like super cool stories that explain things about nature or the world around us. They might be about how the sun got in the sky, or why the ocean is salty.  These stories aren't always true, but they're fun to hear and can help us imagine what people thought in the past.

Legends are another kind of story, but they can be about real or made-up people and events. They might be about famous warriors, kings, or even gods and goddesses!  Sometimes legends might be a bit mixed up with true facts, but that's what makes them interesting.
