Meaning and Measurement of Angles - JSS1 Mathematics Lesson Note

Meaning: An angle is formed when two rays originate from a common point (vertex). The amount of rotation needed to move one ray to overlap with the other determines the measure of the angle.

Measurement: Angles are typically measured in degrees (°). A full circle is 360°, and angles can range from 0° (no rotation) to 360° (full rotation).
