Mode - JSS3 Mathematics Lesson Note

The mode is the value that appears most frequently in a data set. A data set may have one mode (unimodal), more than one mode (bimodal, trimodal, etc.), or no mode (when all values occur with the same frequency).

Example:

Consider the data set: 3,7,5,3,2,7,8,3.

Here, 3 appears most frequently (three times), so the mode of this data set is 3.
