Ordered presentation of data - JSS2 Mathematics Lesson Note

Ordered presentation of data involves arranging data points in a sequence according to their numerical or categorical value. This helps in understanding the distribution and patterns within the data set.

Example: Consider a class of students' scores in a math test: 78, 82, 65, 91, 73, 82, 88, 79, 60, 85.

Unordered Data: 78, 82, 65, 91, 73, 82, 88, 79, 60, 85

Ordered Data: 60, 65, 73, 78, 79, 82, 82, 85, 88, 91

In the ordered presentation, the scores are listed from smallest to largest. This arrangement allows us to easily identify the smallest and largest values, as well as observe any trends or gaps in the data.
