1. Noun: This Names a person, place, thing, or idea.
- Examples: dog, cat, school, happiness.
2. Pronoun: This Replaces a noun in a sentence.
- Examples: he, she, it, they, we.
3. Verb: This Expresses action or state of being.
- Examples: run, jump, laugh, is, am, are.
4. Adjective: This Describes or modifies a noun or pronoun.
- Examples: beautiful, tall, happy, green.
5. Adverb: This Describes or modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb.
- Examples: quickly, very, often, well.
6. Preposition: This Shows the relationship between a noun/pronoun and other words in a sentence.
- Examples: in, on, at, by, with.
7. Conjunction: This Connects words, phrases, or clauses.
- Examples: and, but, or, so, because.
8. Interjection: This Expresses strong emotions and stands alone in a sentence.
- Examples: wow, oh, ouch, hey.
