Sources of Energy: Renewable and Non-Renewable - JSS2 Basic technology Lesson Note
Energy sources are categorised based on availability and environmental impact:
- Renewable Energy: Derived from natural resources that are replenished over time (e.g., sunlight, wind, hydroelectric, biomass).
- Non-Renewable Energy: Derived from finite resources that cannot be replenished in a short time frame (e.g., fossil fuels like coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear).
