Squares and Square Roots Tables - JSS2 Mathematics Lesson Note
Squares: When you multiply a number by itself, you get its square. For example:
3/2=3Γ3=9
(β4)^2=(β4)Γ(β4)=16
Square Roots: The square root of a number is the value that, when multiplied by itself, gives the original number. For example:
The square root of 9=3 because 3Γ3=9
The square root of 16=4 because 4Γ4=16
Tables: These are organized lists showing squares and square roots of numbers. They help in quickly finding these values without calculating each time.
