If the force remains constant but the distance increases, the amount of work done also increases. This is because work is the product of force and distance, so if the distance increases, more work is done.

The power of a machine indicates how quickly it can do work. A machine with higher power can perform tasks more rapidly compared to a machine with lower power, assuming both are exerting the same force.
