1. The Passover Festival: Every year, Jesus' parents, Mary and Joseph, traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover festival. When Jesus was twelve years old, they made the trip as usual.

2. Staying Behind: After the festival, Mary and Joseph began their journey back home to Nazareth, not realizing that Jesus had stayed behind in Jerusalem. They thought he was with other travelers in their group.

3. Searching for Jesus: After a day's travel, they realized Jesus was missing and returned to Jerusalem to search for him. They looked for him for three days.

4. Found in the Temple: Mary and Joseph finally found Jesus in the temple, sitting among the teachers and doctors of the law. He was listening to them and asking questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

 

Mary's Concern: When Mary saw him, she asked, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you." Jesus replied, "Why were you searching for me? Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" However, they did not fully understand what he meant.

Return to Nazareth: Jesus returned to Nazareth with his parents and was obedient to them. Mary treasured all these things in her heart. Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

It include all those who follow God's will.

The people of Nazareth, did not accept him as the savior, they only knew him as the carpenter’s son, the son of Mary and the brother to James.

The true family of Jesus is composed of: Those who do the will of God. They are obedient, respectful, humble, loving, kind and hardworking. They put God first in everything. They put all their trust, hope and confidence in God.
