The purpose of studying government  as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, is to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Libertyto ourselves and our posterity." this will enable citizens to understand their rights and avoid abuse of those rights by people whome they had choosed to represent them. 

A monarchy is a form of government in which a single person holds supreme authority in ruling a country, also performing ceremonial duties and embodying the country's national identity. Although some monarchs are elected, in most cases, the monarch's position is inherited and lasts until death or abdication. In these cases, the royal family or members of the dynasty usually serve in official capacities as well. The governing power of the monarch may vary from purely symbolic (crowned republic), to partial and restricted (constitutional monarchy), to completely autocratic (absolute monarchy).

Without a good and workable constitution, democracy cannot be promoted. A constitution is the set of rules that a country is governed by. with this, accountability can used as a tool to checkmate leaders who may get overboard with the power vested on them.  

Authority the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience. It is the right to exercise power, which can be formalized by a state and exercised by way of judges, appointed executives of government, or the ecclesiastical or priestly appointed representatives of a God or other deities.

legitimacy is the right and acceptance of an authority, usually a governing law or a régime.

1. All the major decisions are taken by the candidates elected by people.
2. Elections provide with fair opportunity to the people to change the present government.
3. The opportunity of dissolving the government is equal for all.
4. Regular elections and the option of dissolution makes up the government

Political power rests with the citizens. In turn, citizens grant political power to their leaders through elections.

Legislation (or " statutory law ") is law which has been promulgated (or " enacted ") by a legislature or other governing body or the process of making it. Before an item of legislation becomes law it may be known as a bill, and may be broadly referred to as "legislation", while it remains under consideration to distinguish it from other business.

Delegated legislation is law that is not passed by an Act of Parliament but by a government minister, a delegated person or an entity

Some research suggests that family and school teachers are the most influential factors in socializing children, but recent research designs have more accurately estimated the high influence of the media in the process of political socialization.
