Discuss why same sex marriage is discouraged?
Many Christians believe that the Bible defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. Passages such as Genesis 2:24 ("Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh") and Matthew 19:4-6, where Jesus reaffirms this definition, are often referenced to support this view.
