I was young and naive when I first met them. They were older and cooler than me, and they seemed to know everything. They introduced me to drugs and alcohol, and I quickly fell in with their crowd. We would party all night, and I would do whatever they said.

One night, we were at a party and I got really drunk. I don't remember much about what happened, but I woke up the next morning in a strange place with no idea how I got there. I was scared and alone, and I realized that I had made a big mistake.

I cut ties with those people and started to get my life back on track. I went to rehab and got sober, and I started to make new friends who were positive influences in my life. I learned my lesson, and since then I have always tried to avoid bad company.

I know that I am lucky to have escaped that situation with my life and my health intact. I am grateful for the second chance that I was given, and I am determined to make the most of it.
