The Nigerian Navy has suspended recruitment for the 2020 batches due to the ongoing Corornavirus pandemic ravaging many countries around the world, including Nigeria.
Recall that Nigeria is in lockdown currently, in efforts to defeat the Covid-19 which has infected over 100 persons and caused a few deaths so far.
The notice on the suspension of the recruitment, as contained on the official website (joinnigeriannavy.com) reads thus:

IN VIEW OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE NIGERIAN NAVY 2020 RECRUITMENT ONLINE REGISTRATION IS HEREBY SUSPENDED TILL FURTHER NOTICE.
Let's hope we defeat Covid-19 soon and things return to normal. For now, registration for Navy recruitment has been suspended, with no future date given yet.
