The NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture invites eligible Nigerian undergraduates to apply for the 2023/2024 & 2024/2025 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. The application period is from May 27 to June 30, 2024.

Scholarship Categories

  • Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: For NAOC Host/Transit Communities applicants.
  • National Merit Award: For applicants from Non-Host/Transit Communities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • Full-time 100-level undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
  • Not currently receiving similar awards from other companies or agencies.
  • Not dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA employees.

Additional Criteria:

  • Only Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Imo States students can apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
  • Only Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, and Agricultural Sciences students can apply for the National Merit Award.

Application Requirements

Ensure you have scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Passport photograph (white background, max 200kb)
  • School ID card
  • O’level certificate
  • Admission letter
  • Birth certificate
  • Proof of local government area of origin
  • Letters from Community Paramount Ruler and CDC Chairman (for Host Communities Merit Award applicants)
  • JAMB result

Application Process

  1. Register: Click "Apply Now" and create an account.
  2. Activate Account: Check your email and activate your account.
  3. Complete Application: Fill in your personal, educational, and other required information. Upload all necessary documents.
  4. Review and Submit: Ensure all details are correct, then submit your application.
  5. Confirmation: You will receive an email and SMS confirming your application.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified and must attend an aptitude test at their own expense.
  • Results will be published on notice boards at NAOC locations.
