Using two passages from a waec passage
Passage 1:
Technology has had a profound impact on the way we live our lives. From the way we communicate to the way we work, technology has changed the world in countless ways. One area where technology has been particularly transformative is in education. Today, students have access to an incredible range of tools and resources that can help them learn more effectively. Online courses, educational apps, and digital textbooks are just a few examples of how technology is changing education. However, while technology can be a powerful tool for learning, it also presents new challenges. For example, students may become distracted by social media or other online distractions, and there is a risk of over-reliance on technology at the expense of more traditional teaching methods.
Passage 2:
Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow:
"Global warming is a phenomenon that is causing concern among many people around the world. It refers to the gradual increase in the Earth's average surface temperature, primarily caused by the release of greenhouse gasses, such as carbon dioxide, into the atmosphere. These gasses trap heat from the sun, leading to a range of environmental problems, including rising sea levels, melting glaciers, and more frequent and severe weather events. To address this issue, many countries have implemented policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transition to renewable energy sources."
