Adolescence - JSS1 Home Economics Lesson Note

Adolescence is the period in every persons life that lies between the end of childhood and the beginning of adulthood. It is a period of time a person matures and moves from childhood to adulthood.

An adolescent is therefore defined as a young person male or female, who is developing into adulthood. This development stage can be classified into two;

i. Early adolescent with age range of 10-13 years.

ii. Late adolescent with age range of 13-20 years.
