Adverb: An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb. Adverbs can tell us how, when, where, why, or to what extent something happens.
Adverbial Clause: An adverbial clause is a group of words that acts as an adverb. Adverbial clauses always start with a subordinating conjunction and must connect to an independent clause to make sense.
Examples of Adverbs : quickly, slowly, quietly, loudly, happily, sadly, soon, later.
Examples of Adverbial Clauses: (a)I will go to the store when I finish my homework.
b) The dog ran away because he was scared.
c) I will eat my vegetables even though I don't like them.
