Area of Parallelograms - JSS3 Mathematics Lesson Note

The area of a parallelogram is calculated as:

Area=base×height

For instance:

Take a parallelogram with a base of 8 units and a height of 5 units.

Area=8×5=40 square units

Therefore, the area of this parallelogram is 40 square units.
