Background of the Novelist - SS1 Literature Lesson Note

Patience Swit is a Nigerian writer, poet, and playwright. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria, in 1954. She studied English language and literature at the University of Lagos and then worked as a journalist for several years. She has published a number of novels, short stories, and poems. Her work has been translated into several languages and has won numerous awards.
