Basic Components of a Population - JSS3 Social studies Lesson Note
- Individuals: Individuals are just single things, like one person or one animal. In a population, you have many individuals all together.
- Organisms: Organisms are living things. This includes not only people but also plants and animals. All the different living beings together make up the whole population.
- People: People are, of course, human individuals. When we talk about the population of a place, we're counting all the people living there, whether it's a city or a village.
