TOPIC: Argumentative Essay 

SUB-TOPIC: Traditional Education is Better than Online Education Good day Mr. Chairman, Panel of Judges, Accurate Time-keeper, Co- Debaters, Ladies and Gentlemen. I am here this afternoon to speak for/support/propose the motion which says Traditional Education is better than Online Education. The reasons why I support the motion shall be extensively discussed in the paragraphs below.

Traditional education is otherwise known as face-to-face learning. According to the popular philosopher, John Dewey, it is the education of the people, by the people and for the people. The knowledge is imparted by the teachers through direct interaction unlike online education where knowledge is gotten through digital platforms and virtual classrooms.

Traditional education allows direct interaction. It makes use of physical classrooms in the teaching system whereas online education uses virtual platforms.

Finally, although online education has some advantages over traditional education, yet with these few points of mine, I hope I have been able to convince you and not to confuse nor brain fool you that traditional education is better than online education. Thank you.
