Consonant /Ө/ and /ð/ - SS1 English Lesson Note
Explanations
o produce consonant /Ө/ and /ð/, place the tip of the tongue between the upper and lower teeth. The tongue is fairly flat and the air escapes through the narrow space between the teeth and the tongue. The vocal cords do not vibrate when consonant /Ө/ is produced. E.g. teeth, three, both, think. If the vocal cords are made to vibrate, then consonant /ð/ is produced .e.g. father, weather, they, there.
