Consonant sounds /t/ and /Ө/, - SS1 English Lesson Note

Explanation of consonant sounds 

 

To produce consonant /t/, block the air stream with the tip of the tongue behind the alveolar ridge. Release the obstructed air at once without vibration of the vocal cords.

To pronounce /Ө/, fix the tip of the tongue between the front teeth and breathe out through the mouth without the vibration of the vocal cords.
