Remote Sensing:

Remote sensing is a technology that allows us to gather information about the Earth's surface or the environment from a distance, without physical contact. It involves the use of various sensors and instruments to capture data about the Earth's features, such as land, water, and the atmosphere, from space, aircraft, or ground-based platforms. Satellite:

A satellite is an object that orbits around a larger body, like a planet. In this context, we're mainly referring to artificial satellites, which are man-made objects launched into space and placed into orbit around the Earth. Satellites serve various purposes, including communication, navigation, scientific research, and remote sensing. They can be equipped with different instruments and sensors to collect data about the Earth and its surroundings.

These are specific satellites or satellite programs that have been associated with Nigeria. Each of them may have unique missions, capabilities, and purposes. For instance, Nigeria's Sat 1 is the country's first satellite, used for communication and Earth observation.
