Elements of Weather and Instruments - SS1 Geography Lesson Note

Temperature: Measured with a thermometer.

Humidity: Measured with a hygrometer.

Wind Speed and Direction: Anemometers measure wind speed, and wind vanes show wind direction.

Precipitation (Rain, Snow, etc.): Recorded using rain gauges for liquid precipitation and snow gauges for snowfall.

Atmospheric Pressure: Barometers are used to measure air pressure.

Cloud Cover: Observed visually to estimate the amount of cloud cover in the sky.

Sunshine Duration: Measured using sunshine recorders or sunlight sensors.
