A family can be defined as a group of people who live together and are united by ties of marriage, birth, blood and adoption. It is the smallest unit in the society.
A family is a group of two or more individuals that are related by marriage, birth, adoption and usually live together in the same household. According to social scientist, family is the most basic social unit in human society the size and members of a family vary between households. An immediate family consist of parents, children, siblings and spouses while and external family consists of grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
