- Functions: Fax machines send and receive scanned documents over telephone lines. They convert documents into electronic signals for transmission and then back into printed form.
- Features: Scanner, modem, printer, and memory storage. Some fax machines include email functionality and document feeders for multiple pages.
4. Computers:
- Functions: Computers process, store, and transmit data. They support various communication applications like email, video conferencing, and instant messaging.
- Features: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, storage, and internet connectivity. Computers can run multiple programs and support various multimedia functionalities.
