Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) - SS1 Geography Lesson Note

GMT is the time at the Prime Meridian, which runs through the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London.

It serves as a reference point for timekeeping and is used as a baseline for defining time zones around the world.

GMT is sometimes referred to as Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), and it doesn't change with daylight saving time.
