Introduction to Isometric Projection - JSS1 Basic technology Lesson Note
Isometric projection is a method of visually representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions. Unlike orthographic projection, isometric projection allows viewers to see multiple sides of an object in a single view, providing a more comprehensive perspective. In isometric projection, the three principal axes of the object are equally foreshortened, and the angle between any two of them is 120 degrees. This type of projection helps in maintaining the proportions and scale of the object, making it useful for technical and engineering drawings where a clear understanding of the overall shape and structure is needed.
