Definition: Power is the rate at which work is done or energy is transferred. It measures how quickly work can be completed or how fast energy can be converted from one form to another.
Units: The SI unit of power is the Watt (W), where one Watt is equal to one Joule per second (1 W = 1 J/s). Another common unit is horsepower (hp), often used for engines, where 1 hp is approximately equal to 746 Watts.
