Jesus teaching on love and money (Matt 5:19-21) - JSS2 Christian Religious Studies (CRS) Lesson Note

Jesus taught that one of the requirements of God’s rule in our hearts is that we should place God above money or wealth or material things. If we live a life in which we make money or wealth our greatest concern, our love for money will make us forget about God. And, when that happens we shall lose eternal life. We shall go to hell and suffer there after we die:

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is there will also be your heart.”
